The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) welcomes outstanding international students from all countries, including Pakistan, to pursue full-time PhD studies at eight leading Hong Kong universities. At HKU, successful applicants receive: ✅ HK$28,700 monthly stipend ✅ HK$14,400 annual research and travel allowance ✅ Tuition-fee waiver ✅ Additional HKU Presidential Scholarship benefits ✅ Guaranteed university accommodation place in the first year ✅ Funding support for up to four years at HKU 📅 Application deadline: December 1, 2026 ⏰ RGC application closes at 12:00 noon Hong Kong Time. How to apply: 1. Submit the initial application through the RGC system. 2. Receive your HKPFS reference number. 3. Submit a separate PhD application to your selected university. 4. Enter the HKPFS reference number in the university application.
