THE NEW 2027 BMW i3 50 xDRIVE IS HERE... AND THIS ISN’T THE OLD i3 YOU REMEMBER. This is the electric BMW 3 Series for the Neue Klasse era. And stay with me, because the numbers here are serious. The i3 50 xDrive uses BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology, with dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, an 800-volt electrical architecture, and a massive 108.7-kWh battery. Total output? 469 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough to launch this electric 3 Series from zero to 60 in just 4.7 seconds. But acceleration is only part of the story. BMW claims up to 567 miles of WLTP range, while DC fast charging can reach 400 kilowatts. In just ten minutes, the i3 can add enough energy for up to 263 miles of driving. That is serious road-trip capability. Inside, the Neue Klasse transformation continues. The centerpiece is BMW Panoramic iDrive, combining a 17.9-inch central display, Panoramic Vision, an available 3D Head-Up Display, and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel. BMW’s new Operating System X adds voice control, connected services, regular software updates, and Amazon Alexa+ integration. But the biggest change might be underneath. BMW’s Heart of Joy computer brings drive and dynamics functions together and operates ten times faster than previous systems. The goal?
