GBA Conquest #352: Army Men: Turf Wars - Plastic Backyard Warfare Hits GBA!

Deploy into the backyard and take down General Plastro's Tan Army! 🪖🔫 For GBA Conquest #352, we are taking control of Sgt. Hawk in "Army Men: Turf Wars", published by The 3DO Company and developed by Mobius Entertainment in 2002. In this video, we return to the iconic plastic soldier franchise on Nintendo's 32-bit handheld. We break down the isometric run-and-gun gameplay—from navigating sandboxes and gardens with Sgt. Hawk and the Blue Spy to driving jeeps, tanks, gunboats, and helicopters. We examine the pre-rendered sprite graphics, check out the arsenal of weaponry, test out the 4-player link cable multiplayer mode, and decide if this handheld entry stands out as one of the stronger titles in the massive Army Men saga. The GBA Conquest is my mission to play and review every single Game Boy Advance game ever released.
