The “Local Excellence” series is an interview/case study with a local business who excels. The idea is to help transfer best practice and possibly inspire new ideas. Woodforde's Brewery has been a customer for some time. During the roll-out, Alex Coulthart, Quality Manager, wasn't available to engage on a Wednesday morning. He explained they were busy doing "Taste". After hearing what it was about, I immediately thought this a good topic for "Local Excellence". "Taste" is another method of meeting the brewery's objective to provide consistently top quality beer to it's pubs and direct customers. This is a rare chance to look behind-the-scenes at a brewery process; aimed at meeting your expectations every time you drink a Woodforde's beer. I know quite a few breweries and I've not come across this before. It seems rare, however if you're a brewer who also has a "Taste" programme, add a comment.
