*ELIOT NESS & THE UNTOUCHABLES — THE FEDERAL AGENTS WHO CHALLENGED AL CAPONE | HISTORY THROUGH MUSIC*
Chicago was drowning in corruption. Al Capone controlled a criminal empire, illegal liquor flowed through the streets, and money could convince powerful people to look the other way.
But not every federal agent had a price.
In 1930, Eliot Ness led a special team of Prohibition agents assigned to investigate and disrupt Capone's illegal liquor operations. Their refusal to accept bribes helped earn them the nickname **the Untouchables**.
Through surveillance, investigations, and raids on breweries, Ness and his agents challenged an organization that had seemed beyond the reach of ordinary law enforcement.
Meanwhile, federal tax investigators were building a separate case against Capone's finances. That investigation ultimately led to his 1931 conviction for income-tax evasion.
🎵 *ABOUT THE SONG*
Men Won't Be Bought brings the investigation of Al Capone to life through outlaw country and hard Southern rock.
With the determination of a lawman approaching a dangerous outlaw, the song follows Eliot Ness and his agents as they confront corruption, pursue bootleggers, and challenge Chicago's most notorious crime boss.
It's a story of courage, integrity, and the importance of evidence.
