A Step-by-Step Acupuncture Treatment

What happens during an acupuncture treatment? In this video, we show a step-by-step look at what a typical acupuncture session may include at Wellness Care Acupuncture. The treatment process may include: 1. Finding and assessing the appropriate acupuncture points 2. Inserting the acupuncture needles 3. Connecting the needles to an electrical stimulation (E-Stim) device when appropriate 4. Using an infrared heat lamp for additional warmth and comfort 5. Allowing the patient time to rest and relax during the treatment 6. Removing the acupuncture needles at the end of the session Every treatment is personalized based on the individual's needs and condition. Not every patient receives the same techniques or combination of therapies.
