DASHCAM: Man arrested after high-speed chase across three Tennessee counties

A man was taken into custody Sunday night after leading Trousdale County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) deputies on a high-speed chase that stretched across several counties, authorities said. According to TCSO, a deputy clocked a gray 2008 Saturn Aura traveling 75 mph in a 45 mph zone on River Road around 8:54 p.m. The driver, who told deputies he did not have a license or identification after being pulled over, was placed under arrest. Deputies said the man slipped out of a handcuff and fled on foot before returning to his vehicle, prompting a pursuit that reached speeds over 120 mph. The chase continued through Trousdale, Macon, and Red Boiling Springs, with assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies. Authorities say the driver intentionally swerved toward a patrol car and later lost control on McClure Street in Red Boiling Springs, crashing before running into a field. He was caught after a short foot chase and was tased shortly after. The man was booked into the Macon County Jail. Investigators are working to confirm his identity, and federal immigration officials have been notified. Multiple charges are expected. https://fox17.com/news/local/dashcam-... _______________ Follow! Like! Share! Subscribe!
