A 2nd version of the celt video, this time using a different colouring technique. Enjoy! Exploring the Celtic Fractal this week with a new colouring method. This method exposes the normally invisible folds that exist outside the main fractal. Normally, this are is rendered with flat colour, but there are actually fun geometric patterns in the plain areas. Unlike the Mandelbrot, its cousins like the Celtic and Burning Ship have folds due taking the absolute value each iteration. The Celtic Fractal is a cousin of the Mandelbrot where the equation is manipulated slightly. The absolute value of the real component is taken on every iteration: z = |Re(z²)| + Im(z²)i + c. Presented without mid-roll ads for uninterrupted enjoyment thanks to my supporters! You can support me on Patreon, or simply buy me a coffee on ko-fi. Fractal videos always look best at high resolution; change your settings to at least 4k. Watch me in full size on your TV! (YouTube's compression can kill these videos otherwise). This video will be available for Patreons to download in the coming days, which will have a higher bitrate. You may use these visuals on your own channel if you are a member of my Patreon page. /******************************************************************************** Patreon:   / mathstown   (Support, Downloads & Usage Rights) Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/mathstown (Buy me a coffee) Website: https://www.maths.town Discord:   / discord   (Drop by and say hello) ********************************************************************************/ Music from Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/referra...
