The Word Exposed with Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle | February 8, 2026

Dive deeper into your faith with us! Reflect on Sunday’s Mass readings each week through The Word Exposed with Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, pro-prefect for the Dicastery for Evangelization. Today is the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. In the gospel, Jesus tells his disciples: “You are the salt of the earth . . . You are the light of the world.” As Christians and a Church, we must season the earth so it might continue to become good and useful for all of us. We do so through the way we live and relate with one another. Do our lifestyles, practices, and behaviors contribute to a just and human society?  Do our lives serve as lamps that provide light and guidance to others? Especially to those who feel lost and abandoned. The Lord tells us, brothers and sisters, that our good deeds must shine, not for self-gain and self-glory, but so that by seeing them, people would glorify our Heavenly Father. 🕛 7 a.m and 3 p.m., Sundays 📺 Free TV Ch. 31, Cignal Ch. 24, Samsung TV Plus, TCL Smart TVs, Blast TV, AmasianTV 📱 Cignal Play, BNC YouTube and Facebook Visit our website: https://bnc.ph Check out our official social media accounts:   / bncphl     / bncdotph     / bnc.ph     / bnc.ph      / @bncphl   #bilyonaryonewschannel #bnc Warning: Unauthorized use of any BNC videos without proper approval will lead to legal action to the fullest extent of the law.
