Biodome | The Sims 2 Console: Story Mode - Level 8 [Finale]

Welcome to the Biodome, perhaps the most gruelling level of the game which is only fitting as it marks the final main story level for The Sims 2. This level features 4 different playable Sims and primarily follows the story of Noel Howard, who we need to help in order to get him to the top level of his political career. While this video is shorter than levels like Sunset Canyon & Tranquillity falls, it features a metric ton of un-recorded grinding I had to do in order to complete all the tasks - It was best to leave it out given the fact previous episodes featured similar objectives for my own character. Right to the end of the video will you see the 'ending' of this game, which we can all agree is a cool little video but rather lacklustre. Regardless, it was still a fun moment to complete a game that I had no chance of finishing as a kid. Compared to its older PC brother, the console version of The Sims 2 is quite different in that it follows a more structured formula in gameplay. This is made up of unlocking other main & side locations by completing the various platinum wants. Some of these are based on our skill levels & social interactions, others are completed by the career we pick as well as purchasing/building different things for the Sims. This series will cover each of the main unlockable levels from the 2nd Sims game on Gamecube, Xbox & PlayStation 2.
