Long before Noah, the Mesopotamians told of a great flood, and of a god who broke ranks to warn one man. In this video, we go back to the cuneiform tablets of the Atrahasis epic, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and the Sumerian flood story of Ziusudra to ask a question most retellings skip: what did Enki know, and when did he know it?
