Why I Use a Dumb Phone and Never Want to Go Back to a Smartphone

I was born in 1996, so I saw the whole transition from house phones, to cell phones, to smart phones. It's common knowledge these days that smartphones are designed to be as addictive as possible, and addicted I was. I didn't need a smartphone for most of my life, so would switching to a dumb phone make a difference? I switched to using a dumb phone full-time for 8 months.
