Lana Del Rey - Bury Me In California (Official Music Video)

Lana Del Rey - Bury Me In California (Official Music Video) Welcome to The Velvet Hour. ✨ "Bury Me In California" is a slow-burning, sun-drenched ballad about loving someone you know won't stay — and choosing to drown in the love anyway. A song for endless summers, doomed romance, and the kind of California sunsets that feel like a goodbye. 00:00 Intro 00:25 Verse 1 01:05 Pre-Chorus 01:20 Chorus 01:50 Verse 2 02:30 Pre-Chorus 02:45 Chorus 03:15 Bridge 03:35 Final Chorus 04:05 Outro Inspired by the cinematic doomed-romance aesthetic of Lana Del Rey's catalog — from "Born to Die" to "Norman F***ing Rockwell," from "Honeymoon" to "Chemtrails Over the Country Club" — "Bury Me In California" lives in that same world of palm trees, vintage Cadillacs, Pacific Coast sunsets, and lovers who know how the story ends but keep driving anyway. What You'll Hear: The Production: Vintage baroque pop production with soft piano, dreamy guitar twang, brushed drums, vintage strings, and ocean ambience at 72 BPM. The Vocals: Breathy melancholy dreamy female vocals channeling the haunting register of Lana Del Rey at her most cinematic — fragile in the verses, soaring in the choruses, whispered in the outro. The Atmosphere: Vinyl crackle, distant ocean waves, vintage film grain, golden hour California sunsets, palm tree silhouettes, and the slow-motion ache of summers that don't last.
