SOMEONE LEFT THE LIGHT ON | Official Music Video | OBEY THE PULSE

SOMEONE LEFT THE LIGHT ON is a darkwave horror story set in Victorian London. A lamp burns behind a bedroom door. A man tries to turn it off, but every night it returns. As the light keeps burning, the past he thought he had buried begins to stand before him. Darkwave, dark synthpop and cinematic shadows from OBEY THE PULSE. 🖤 Subscribe for new darkwave music:    / @obeythepulse   🖤 All OBEY THE PULSE links: https://linktr.ee/obey.the.pulse 🖤 CDs & vinyl: https://elasticstage.com/obey-the-pulse Lyrics The house was cold, the curtains drawn Your coat was here, but you were gone I checked the hall, I checked the stairs A single lamp was burning there No step, no breath, no voice at all Just yellow light across the wall Someone left the light on Behind the bedroom door I turn it off before I sleep It burns again at four I pulled the plug, I checked the wire No spark, no heat, no hidden fire But when the hallway turns to black That little light is always back No hand, no switch, no reason there Just yellow light in empty air #darkwave #gothicmusic #music Someone left the light on Behind the bedroom door I turn it off before I sleep It burns again at four If you are gone, then tell me who Still leaves that light the way you do Someone left the light on Behind the bedroom door I don't turn it off these nights I let it burn till four #Darkwave #HorrorMusic #GothicMusic #DarkSynthpop #CinematicMusic
