Two Baskets | A children's story about Sukkos, terumah and maasros in the Beis HaMikdashen v1

Asaf, a twelve-year-old Levi boy, goes down to his Zeidy in Yericho for the date harvest and picks a basket from the palm tree his grandfather planted the week he was born. Zeidy separates terumah and maasros from every basket, because you don't give a present before you separate. But one basket, Asaf's own, was already in the trunk of the car and never made it to the storehouse. On the first night of Sukkos, as the whole family sits in the sukkah facing the Beis HaMikdash and Zeidy reaches for the first date, Asaf remembers. Nobody knows. He could stay quiet.
