Vlog | A Day in My Life as an OT 🇿🇦 | Heritage Day with Special Needs Children & Caregivers

Come spend a day with me as an Occupational Therapist ❤️🇿🇦 I started my day delivering a very late birthday gift to my colleague 😂🎁 before heading to one of the Special Care Centres I work with, where I had been invited to join their Heritage Day celebration. The children and staff were dressed in beautiful traditional clothing, traditional food was prepared, and we spent some time celebrating our South African cultures together. 🇿🇦❤️ Later, I headed to another Special Care Centre that was also celebrating Heritage Day — which of course meant more traditional food 😂 — before ending my day with a friend over a few drinks. I'm really enjoying sharing more of my everyday life with you — not only Joy at home, but also little glimpses of Joy the Occupational Therapist, my work in the community, and the people and experiences that make up my days.
