Last Person Down the Roof Can Still Have Fall Protection

The assumption that the first person up the roof and the last person to come down have to be really careful because they can’t have fall protection is common, but completely wrong. Fall protection systems can be set prior to stepping off the ground and utilized throughout the entire job … even to assist the last person to come back to the ground … safely. Here, I demonstrate using a retrievable rope anchor (shown to me by my favorite safety professional with Petzl).
