My Kayak Started Sinking… as the tide went out - Florida Kayak Fishing

A normal kayak fishing trip turned into a race against the tide. We started the day fishing live bait and managed to catch a redfish and a small catfish — but then I realized my kayak was taking on water. With the tide dropping fast, getting back to the launch became harder by the minute. Eventually, we ran out of water completely and I had to drag the kayak through the last remaining creek channel. Exhausted, muddy, and definitely ready to be done — but we both made it back safely. Just another day kayak fishing in Florida.
