Following six months of engine work and boat projects, Absolutely finally casts off for long-distance cruising. A course is set for the San Juan Islands via the Strait of Juan de Fuca, but fate had other plans and the crew found themselves dead in the water. Includes adventures to Port Madison Bay, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Bainbridge Island, Point No Point lighthouse, Shine Tidelands, and a hike on Kitsap Peninsula. Also, the Universal 35 marine diesel engine and Hurth transmission are removed in preparation for a re-power. Join First Mate Nikki, Captain Dale, and our Ship's Dog, Amity, on our Pacific Northwest adventures aboard a 1998 Catalina 36 MKII sailboat. Don't forget to get on!
