Can This Broken PSP Be Fixed? UMD Drive & Screen Replacement in 2026

In todays video I take a broken psp1000 that won't read UMD discs, replace the drive, and as an added bonus replace the screen with a laminated IPS screen. I cover the disassembly, installation, and testing. By replacing the drive and upgrading the screen, I hope to give this PSP a new lease of life. In a future video i'll look at making this the ultimate psp by upgrading the firmware to load your games from the memory card.
