Different Faiths, One Purpose: Building Homes in Nashville

Different faiths. Many helping hands. One shared purpose: helping more people achieve safe, affordable homeownership. On Oct. 31, local faith groups came together to support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville’s Catholic Build, Methodist Build and Unity Build at Bella Terra in Antioch, Tennessee. The day began with a blessing from Bishop J. Mark Spalding before volunteers worked side by side on homes across the 53-home community, putting faith into action and helping future homeowners move closer to homes of their own. Bella Terra also includes the eight homes of Pope Leo Village, part of a nationwide initiative inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s commitment to human dignity and service. Volunteers supported multiple homes throughout Bella Terra during this build day. Thank you to every volunteer, faith group and partner who contributed time, energy and resources. Together, we’re building homes and strengthening community.
