Early in the morning, flowers are blooming and fresh cucumbers and loofahs are ready to harvest as everyone begins a busy day on the farm. The men bring fertilizer into the vegetable garden, spray and fertilize the crops, while the women carefully harvest fresh vegetables. Our playful cat follows everyone around, making the workday even more enjoyable. At noon, we take a break and share a simple meal together before returning to work when the afternoon becomes cooler. Later, we continue caring for the vegetable garden and move to the pond, where water hyacinths are removed and fresh greens are added. One of the most satisfying moments of the day is collecting two full buckets of snails. Life in a vegetable garden requires patience, care, and hard work every day. We love living close to nature, caring for plants and animals, and enjoying the simple beauty of Vietnamese farm life.
