Glimpses: Poetry Session with Sheen Kaaf Nizam – Awadh Region Conference 2026 | Lucknow

An exclusive session with Padma Shri Sheen Kaaf Nizam, eminent Urdu poet and literary scholar, was a standout moment on Day 2 of the Awadh Region Conference. In conversation with Kanak Rekha Chauhan, Ehsaas Woman of Lucknow, he offered a nuanced exploration of Ghazals, Nazms, and the finer elements of Urdu poetry. He was then felicitated with a traditional Kantha Uttoriyo by the Ehsaas Women of Lucknow—Madhuri Halwasiya, Deepa Mishra, and Dimple Trivedi.
