Science for sustainability: promoting sustainable development through UNESCO’s programmes and sites

Implemented by the UNESCO Office in Venice, in partnership with the Aberdeen Group Charitable Foundation, the project ‘Promoting sustainable development through UNESCO’s programmes and sites’ advanced research and education through innovative approaches. Supporting 15 UNESCO designated sites across Europe and North America, it demonstrated how science, education, and community innovation can deliver solutions for biodiversity conservation, sustainable water management, and climate action. © UNESCO Link: https://www.unesco.org/en/articles/pr...
