Cape York Leaders Program 20 Year Book Launch

For 20 years, the Cape York Leaders Program has supported young people from across Cape York to access education, build their confidence and develop as the next generation of leaders. In 2026, we came together to launch *For the Love of Our Children: 20 Years of the Cape York Leaders Program*, a book capturing the people, families, stories and milestones that have shaped CYLP over two decades. The launch brought together students, alumni, families, staff, partners and supporters to reflect on where the program began, what has been achieved and the work still ahead. Hear reflections from our founder Noel Pearson, Cape York Partnership Board Co-Chair Fiona Jose, Brisbane Boys’ College Deputy Headmaster Scott Murphy and members of the wider CYLP community as we celebrate 20 years of opportunity, responsibility and leadership.
