Yaesu FT 101E VS Ten Tec Omni VII

okay really this is a demonstration of the ft101e. however, to show some of the receive capability of the radio, I did compare it with my Omni 7. needless to say, I'm quite impressed with the Yaesu ft101e. this is the first one I've ever had in front of me and I'm quite surprised with its receive capability and of course transmit is really good as well.
