Chase comes down to the wire! A Grade 2026/27: Anglesea vs Winchelsea

Chase comes down to the wire! The rain held off on Saturday, as we took on the newly promoted Winchelsea Cricket Club Players & Supporters at the home of cricket. Dyl (3/20) and Ky (2/7) started well with the ball, bowling tight lines and restricting the Blues scoring. Tom Eskrigge chipped in with 2 wickets and we kept Winch to 8/149 off their 40. Our chase didn't start ideally, with Ty out first ball, and after slumping to 5/77 victory looked at long odds. However Luke and Alex worked hard to put on 31 runs for the 8th wicket, and then Tommy Eskrigge came in and finished the innings with flair. Enjoy the highlights of the clash 🦘🦘
