Can the NVIDIA RTX 5070 handle Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with Path Tracing enabled? I put it to the test with multiple DLSS settings, Frame Generation, VRAM monitoring, and a final comparison against DLSS 5 injected through OptiScaler. In this test, we're pushing the RTX 5070 Founders Edition to its limits at 4K, comparing DLSS Quality, Performance, and Ultra Performance with Path Tracing enabled. Then, we turn off ray tracing and path tracing to see how DLSS 5 stacks up visually and performance-wise. Here's what we're testing: 4K Path Tracing + DLSS Quality 4K Path Tracing + DLSS Performance 4K Path Tracing + DLSS Ultra Performance DLSS 5 via OptiScaler with Path Tracing and Ray Tracing disabled Generated FPS vs. base FPS VRAM usage and real-world gameplay smoothness Can the RTX 5070 deliver a playable 4K Path Tracing experience, or do you have to sacrifice too much image quality to get there? My verdict might surprise you: while Ultra Performance delivered the smoothest Path Tracing experience, DLSS 5 arguably provided a more impactful visual upgrade without the same extreme upscaling trade-off. PC Specs: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition (12GB) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Resolution: 4K (3840 × 2160) Do you prefer Path Tracing, Ray Tracing, or DLSS 5?
