The subject bears strong resemblance to that of the Fugue in G minor from WTC 1, yet the atmosphere here is so serene. Regarding the key signature, the manuscript has two flats. Although the movement ends with an imperfect cadence in G minor on D, it begins in E-flat major, and so I have changed it accordingly following conventional practice. This piece was premiered during my performance at the University Hospital two days ago. Can you find the transposed BACH motif? ~~~~~~~~~~ Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major, BWV 1051 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) 2.
