The Dudaim were Benny Amdursky בני אמדורסקי and Israel Gurion ישראל גוריו and were filmed here on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel, 1967. Info about the song: Yaakov Orland יעקב אורלנד wrote the lyrics to “Hora Mechudeshet הורה מחודשת” = "Renewed Hora", (also known as “Rav HaLayla רב הלילה") to fit a traditional Hasidic folk melody that he knew from his parents’ home. The song is often mistakenly called “Rad HaLayla רד הלילה” = "The night has fallen", and is sung that way as well here by the Dudaim. (This mistake comes from a mishearing of the opening words “Rav HaLayla”.)
