Dragon Quest IV [DS] Playthrough #091, Bonus: Foo Yung & Chow Mein's Secret Immigrant

To view the commentary version, click here:    • Dragon Quest IV [DS] Commentary #091, Bonu...   The party has completed the true final battle against Aamon, the fiend that orchestrated Rose's murder. There is one last thing that I want to show off: the final prize that can be earned from Foo Yung and Chow Mein. After restarting from the save made at the end of the credit roll, Battle Records will now show statistics on the "happy ending" in addition to the normal statistics. Outside of town, after rearranging their line-up, the party Zooms back to the Pinnacle Chapel (time index 2:45), from which they make their way back to Foo Yung and Chow Mein's lair. When they reach the Pinnacle (time index 8:15), we create a line-up of Ragnar, Psaro, Alena, and Heorot the hero. Here, Ragnar, Psaro, and Alena will be responsible for attacking, while Heorot will be responsible for healing with Omniheal. So, once more, the party interrupts Foo Yung and Chow Mein's pointless chicken-and-egg debate (time index 9:03). These two are such imbeciles. While Ragnar and Alena attack nonstop, Psaro will Oomph them and Kasap the enemies. Heorot will be the healer in most instances, especially while Foo Yung is still alive. When F.Y. and C.M. are defeated (time index 15:56), Heorot reaches Level 44. Since the party completed the battle in fifteen rounds, the final prize presents itself to them. It is the man in the painting. Oh dear, it's a nudist. When the party talks to him (time index 17:32), they find that he wants to move to someplace less hot. The party directs him to the Pioneer Town, Heorotsville. The guy's name is ... Old Man Psaro? Huh? After returning to the Azimuth, the party Zooms to Heorotsville (time index 19:45). Old Man Psaro is in the northern room on the main floor (time index 19:59). Oh ... now he's calling hmself Psaro, "Queen" of the Desert. Leave it to Foo Yung and Chow Mein to give us a weirdo. Also, in the castle's courtyard, the party finds Mini Medal #69 (time index 20:34). Thanks for watching my playthrough of Dragon Quest IV!
