A wig has become one of the most unlikely pieces of evidence in the corruption and money-laundering trial of former National Assembly Speaker and Defence Minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.
She spent her second day on the witness stand in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
Mapisa-Nqakula faces 12 counts of corruption and one of money laundering, relating to alleged payments totalling almost four-point-five million rand by military contractor Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndlhovu.
Much of her testimony has focused on her relationship with the contractor, and her denial that the two women used code words to refer to cash payments.
