Etihad's Net-Zero flight and the future of sustainable aviation | Etihad

In partnership with World Energy and Satavia, Etihad operated a 787-9 flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel Book & Claim to achieve net-zero carbon emissions on a transatlantic flight. Additional atmospheric reductions were achieved by operational initiatives such as pre-flight engine wash, one-engine taxiing, intensive flight planning and contrail avoidance.
