Here's the final Cloud level! The level that was originally the only one you'd get from bringing the 8 Rare Orbs to the Golden Temple in the Wii version. Just notice how DK & Diddy warp into this level. It's from right after they ate some of that Golden Banana. Whichever version of this game you're playing, it's always the final extra level after beating Tiki Tong. You playthrough a sky-high version of this Golden Temple. A lot of the platforms here are giant pieces of fruit, such as strawberries, oranges, blueberries, cherries, and yes, of course, BANANAS! A unique enemy here are some flying purple koalas that REALLY want to blow you up with their bombs. There's one more set of Puzzle Pieces to collect here, take note of how I got the first one in this level. One more thing you have to know before the end of this level is that there are no Checkpoints. No Checkpoint Pigs/Professor Chops. If you die at all, you'll have to start this whole level over again as if it were a normal Key Temple. It's here that I FINALLY use some Green Balloons, which will save DK from a fall by slowly drifting him back up to the stage. ---------- At the very end of this level, after a fantastic buildup to unlock its goal, you unlock... MIRROR MODE! In Mirror Mode, all of the stages are flipped horizontally. The levels as such will need to be completed from going right to left instead of going from left to right. This also beefs up the difficulty. DK loses on health heart, bringing him down to two hit points, or in the Wii version's case, JUST ONE. Diddy also can't jump him through these mirrored levels, either, so DK has to go through them solo with worse health and also no use of inventory items, either! ---------- However... I've decided to end the playthrough on this note. I'm kinda burned out and ready to move on to the next logical game after this... It's sequel! Thanks for watching my playthrough of the Switch version of Donkey Kong Country Returns! Stay tuned for when I eventually play the Switch version of Tropical Freeze, which is actually 11 years older than this game's Switch re-release!
