Wide press conference 13.SOUNDBITE (English) Oliver Stone, Director: "I found that in Marrakech above all we had five different looks. We had the sea, the ocean at Essourai, we had the mountains in the Atlas, we had the plains with fertile plains, we had low plains - dusty - and we had the city itself with the medina. So we had incredible variety. We didn't have elephants and jungle, so we ended up in Thailand for the end of the movie and we are going up to London for the interiors. But Morocco was the key element; the people , the government, the technicians, the people who are working, the actors. It's been a wonderful experience. They have been extremely generous people." 8. Press 9. SOUNDBITE (English) Colin Farrell, Actor: "The reason why I did the film is because this man did an unbelievable, unbelievable script. Never read anything like and I've done my fair share of shit in my nine year acting career and I've never read anything like what Oliver wrote and of course I wanted to work with him because he is a man of opinion, and passion and of life." 10. Press 11. SOUNDBITE (English) Oliver Stone, Director: "I think Alexander really was not the conqueror in the sense of Gengis Khan. I think he was Alexander the wanderer, the want-to-know, the enlightener, he wanted to unify, bring together a vision of the world that was ultimately impossible to bring together. But my god he had vision. It is important these days, I think so important to remind young people that there is such a thing as big ideas and big hopes and idealism, we've become so petty and small and backbiting. It's so great to work on a movie where there's a big man and a big thought process." 12. Press 13. SOUNDBITE (English) Colin Farrell, Actor: (Off screen - Q: Alexander the Great is the warrior, the strongman and it seems you chose Colin who, sorry to say, doesn't seem to be that strong a warrior?) "I'll see you outside in five minutes (laughter)." 14.
