It was one of Seoul's representative moon-dong, so there was a plan to green this place in Seoul, but it was defeated due to severe backlash. Then, since the mid-2000s, nearby Itaewon-dong became a neighboring neighborhood, and the floating population began to flock to nearby liberation villages. In particular, as small restaurants for foreigners who were here gained popularity as a restaurant, the commercial area gradually expanded, and now the indigenous people were pushed to other neighborhoods due to gentrification, but people are crowded again. Similar to the neighborhood accounting road, it is noisy as hipster and restaurant lovers on weekends. However, as the neighborhood, which has gained popularity as a word of mouth, local residents often hear cheaper local shops than popular restaurants. 'Shinheung-ro', which extends long from the entrance of the Liberation Village Noksapyeong Station to the hill road, has many casual restaurants or cafes that are more than a medium price point promoted on blogs or broadcasts. In terms of tourists, the restaurants that can be satisfied at the right price range (1 ~ 30,000 won per person), but even if you have a coke on a hamburger, it is very higher than the usual Korean prices. It is one of the most common neighborhoods where foreigners live, and they can witness foreigners in a fluent exotic children, staff working in shops, or foreigners in the streets. Sowol-ro passes just above the neighborhood, and if you cross the road, Namsan is Namsan. It is located in the highlands and there are rare high buildings nearby. Even if you do not have to climb to Namsan, you can see it far everywhere.
