Thresher Sharks 🦈 Malapascua Island

Sometimes bad weather brings good things... The dry season here is ending, with that comes Habagat (the Southwest Monsoon), which typically brings heavy rains with way too much lightning 😱 and very hot humid weather.. It has arrived in full force this week specifically following the typhoon we've been waiting to pass by us to the west.. Having finally left Port Cebu yesterday morning we unanimously decided to stop for the night for two reasons. So we stopped at Malapascua Island, a small tropical paradise located off the northernmost tip of Cebu, Philippines. It is world-famous as the only place on Earth where you can reliably dive with thresher sharks almost every single day.. First reason was to avoid sailing at night and second to go diving! Which we did today 😊🦈❤️
