Pick your favorite GT3 car and race on equal terms! The new GT3 Spec class in Project Motor Racing’s Mod Hub could be a fantastic choice for fixed-setup races and league championships. I tested every car in the class, including an acceleration comparison between the Acura NSX GT3 and Aston Martin GT3 that produced identical results. On track, I also ran identical lap times with the Acura NSX, Ford Mustang GT3 and Porsche GT3—and every car felt the same to drive. Here’s what makes GT3 Spec different: • Every car uses the same engine, horsepower and torque. • All cars are converted to front-engine, rear-wheel drive. • Caster offset and final drive are the only tuning options. • Each car retains its original body and sound. To keep the video short, I’m showing laps from the Acura, Mustang and Porsche—representing three different original engine layouts, now running the same spec configuration. For leagues, this means a varied GT3 grid with equal performance in my testing, fewer setup variables and more focus on consistency, racecraft and the driver behind the wheel. Agree on caster offset and final-drive settings, pick the car you love, and go racing! Would you join a GT3 Spec league? Let me know which car you’d choose in the comments!
