Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge Day 2 - Beautiful Coastal Views & Brutal Hills

After covering 54K on Day 1 from Chale to Cowes along the coastal path, it was time for another 53K around the beautiful coastline of the Isle of Wight. I continued my clockwise loop around the Island finishing back where I started in Chale. The legs were definitely feeling yesterday’s effort, but thankfully the weather was much kinder this time. The route delivered more incredible coastal scenery, rolling hills, and some wonderfully picturesque Isle of Wight towns and villages along the way. It was still very hilly with some properly challenging climbs, but compared to the weather conditions of Day 1, this felt like a chance to properly enjoy the experience and soak up the atmosphere.
