Speed Queen SCN030 JC2: Normal Warm (Full Cycle)

Recorded at Port City Laundry in Newburyport, MA. This is one of Speed Queen’s “pre-Quantum” models meaning it has the Quantum design but still has the 2-speed contactor-driven motor. These are becoming increasingly hard to find as they were released to the commercial laundry market just as VFD machines were gaining popularity, which many laundromats favored due to their increased versatility. This machine had some really nice wash action, and the water level was perfect for the load size. Only two rinses though. I would have preferred 3. No intermediate spins either but that’s typical for post-2010 Alliance machines.
