Max tries to convince Nigel to help him in his court hearing against Asa, but Asa intervenes. Cassie tells Bo she’s ready to go and asks if he’s coming with her. He says he doesn’t even know what to do or think or feel right now. Sarah tells Megan and Viki about how Alex came to “rescue” her. Viki says even though Alex’s motives were grotesque, at least she brought Sarah back to her family. Bo goes to Megan’s house to see Sarah. Sarah explains what happened to her–a man called Conrad, who worked for Porter, took all her jewelry and brought her to a house by a beach where he forced her to say what he wanted into the radio. She explains how Conrad held her captive all these months, at the behest of some unknown puppetmaster, who was paying for his ailing son’s hospital bills. We see how Alex “rescued” her, claimed Carlo Hesser was the mastermind but that Fred Porter had apprehended him and that she was now going to reunite Sarah with Bo. In the morning, Max goes to court, accompanied by LeeAnn and his lawyer, Paula. Luna shows up at the courthouse for moral support. At home, Asa looks at the deed moments before reassuring Jon he does not have the deed. When court is in session, the judge asks Asa to produce the deed in question. Jon states that Asa does not possess the deed and that all known copies have gone missing over the past few years. Paula asks to enter the letter from Wingate into evidence, explaining Wingate wrote a letter to his son which states, in part, that he would never sell the mineral rights to Asa. The judge reviews the evidence and determines that the letter, while troubling, is not sufficient evidence. He is on the verge of dismissing the case when Nigel shows up in the courtroom, deed in hand. Bo finally makes it home, sometime after dawn. Cassie issues Bo an ultimatum and Bo admits he loves both Sarah and Cassie. She says that’s not good enough. Cassie says they got married yesterday and now she needs to know if she’s his wife or not.
