"Hands that Ran the Reels" A Documentary on Kansas City's Film Row

Kansas City’s Film Row emerged in the early 1920s, during a period when the American film industry was rapidly expanding, and studios needed regional infrastructure to distribute movies nationwide. This film row remained operational until the late 1980's. Via Hayden was fortunate enough to sit down with the Film Row community and learn about their experiences and other Kansas City film organizations such as WOMPI and Show-a-rama.
