Integrated Manned Interplanetary Spacecraft (IMIS) || A KSP Cinematic

The IMIS was a proposed Manned mission to Mars, Venus, and back during the late 80s, originally designed by Boeing and North American Rockwell, the IMIS was supposed to be a successor to the Apollo program, lasting from 1981-1986 with 3 manned expeditions to the inner planets aside Mercury. It would've put humans on the surface of Mars by 1984 or 1986, the IMIS also featured the iconic Mars Excursion Module or MEM, an iconic design that used the atmosphere of Mars to slow down enough until it landed purposively. However after Mariner 4 NASA realized the difficulty and risk inherent to a Mars landings, along with budget cuts the agency abandoned these ideas and began the Shuttle program, however it still stands as a beacon of NASAs true potential, and one of the biggest "what ifs" Songs (in order) Billy Idol, White Wedding Michael Jackson, Billie Jean Queen, Hammer to fall Spandau Ballet, Gold Rick Astley, Together Forever Kenny Loggins, Footloose
