We started the day with a cozy monochromatic fit before heading to Big SNOW, the indoor ski and snowboard resort inside American Dream. And y’all… this was definitely an EXPERIENCE. We booked the Snow Day Package through Groupon, which included our equipment rental, slope access, and beginner training. After watching the safety video and getting fitted for our boots and snowboards, we were ready to hit the slopes or at least we thought we were. We started in the beginner area, but somehow decided it was a good idea to go ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP before we really knew what we were doing. Between trying to get up the hill, figuring out how to snowboard, falling approximately 500 times, and trying to learn how to stop, there was never a dull moment. After surviving the slopes, we grabbed some food and spent the rest of the day exploring American Dream Mall. Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY. Maybe next time I’ll actually learn how to stop before heading to the top of the mountain.
