MacBook Air M1 (A2337) Dead / No Power Fix — 5V 480mA Short Found!

In this video, we tackle a completely dead M1 MacBook Air (A2337) that won't turn on or charge. Plugging in the USB-C meter showed it was stuck at 5V and pulling a constant 480mA — a classic sign that a short circuit is dragging the system down. After verifying that the PP3v8_AON line was healthy, I pulled out the thermal camera to see what was getting hot. The culprit wasn't actually on the logic board itself! A quick process of elimination led us to the trackpad, where a single glowing capacitor was keeping the entire MacBook from booting.
