Soldier Boy's devastating energy blast fails to strip Chief of anything because the Spartan has no Compound V in his body, while the Mjolnir armor, battlefield experience, and tactical discipline allow Chief to fight an opponent who possesses far greater raw power. Eventually, Homelander himself enters the conflict, creating the ultimate confrontation between superhuman power and military discipline. But Master Chief doesn't need to defeat Homelander to expose what separates them.
