The Laser Cannon + Scythe Combo Just Works | HELLDIVERS 2 Gameplay (SUPER HELLDIVE - 10)

A viewer requested that I revisit the laser cannon so here it is. In this mission, I’m taking the Laser Cannon + Scythe up against Automatons, paired with the Talon secondary. The Scythe and Talon is especially useful when you want to give the Laser Cannon a moment to cool down before getting back to it. It worked even better on this cold planet, where the Laser Cannon was able to cool much faster. It absolutely shreds Hulk eyes and gunships thrusters, making it a really reliable option against most of the automaton roster. However, if you run into a War Strider-heavy seed, I’d recommend swapping the Eagle Strafing Run for Eagle 110mm Rocket Pods. That gives you two reliable ways to take them down quickly with the throwable grenade and rocket pods. Thermite grenades work well too but it cannot handle large crowds of bots compared to the giga. The shield generator pack is completely optional. You could swap it for another drone or even a warp pack depending on your preference. It definitely saved me from getting killed a few times during this mission. Overall, I really enjoyed this Laser Cannon + Scythe setup and how well the weapons complement each other.
