Amit Shah Challenges Rahul Gandhi on SIR | Offers Special Parliament Session for Debate | BJP

Addressing a massive public rally in Haryana, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Shri Amit Shah ji pointed out that Congress lost the 2014, 2019 and 2024 elections even when SIR was not conducted. He challenged Rahul Gandhi to write a letter to PM Modi ji if he genuinely wants a discussion on SIR, adding that the government is ready to convene a special session of Parliament for a comprehensive debate on the issue. He also explained the reasons behind changes in electoral rolls, including deaths, migration to other states and duplicate voter registrations. He challenged Congress to provide a detailed breakdown of its claim that 13 crore votes had been deleted. Reaffirming BJP’s commitment against illegal infiltration, Shri Amit Shah ji declared that infiltrators would be identified, removed from electoral rolls and deported from the country in accordance with the law.
