Rottach-Egern, Bavaria - Blue Hour to Night Walk | Lake Tegernsee | 4K

🗓️ Ocober 1, 2026 🕒 19:30 pm 🌡️ 18C (64,4°F) In this walk, I start during the blue hour, as the last daylight fades over the village and the surrounding Bavarian Alps. I continue walking through Rottach-Egern as the evening turns into night, capturing the changing atmosphere of the village, quiet streets, traditional Bavarian buildings and the peaceful surroundings of Lake Tegernsee. One thing you will notice during this walk is how dark and quiet Rottach-Egern becomes at night. Unlike Munich or other larger cities, there is relatively little artificial lighting in many parts of the village, especially away from the main roads. This gives the walk a much more natural and tranquil nighttime atmosphere, although some sections can become quite dark.
