Half an inch of rain overnight and we've got two loaded wagons buried in David's bean field. David's our neighbor and the guy who custom farms for us, and he had to pull us out of his own ground with his own tractor. The 7820 couldn't do it, David's tractor sunk in worse trying, and it ended up taking his 4640 on a cable and the two of us tag teaming it to get the wagon moving. The best part is David's story in the middle of all this. Seven or eight years ago I got a loaded wagon stuck in this exact field after Tork told me not to cross it loaded. Same field, same mistake, same neighbor. I also install a quick hitch for the first time in my life with David talking me through it, my GoPro dies, and Tork's on day four of running the dump truck at the old site, where the pit's half full of water. We goofed up, we figured it out, we fixed it, we're moving on. Farming's fun, ain't it.
